LPG Auto Pumps
WAK has recently signed an agreement with Army Welfare Trust (AWT) to setup LPG auto filling stations at Askari CNG stations. As agreed initially five stations shall be setup at designated CNG filling stations of AWT and the number shall increase subsequently every year. The gross profit shall be shared between AWT and WAK at a pre-determined sharing ratio. The launch of the project has been a success and the financials have shown handsome returns.
Power Generation
WAK is in the process of setting up a project to undertake generation of power based on imported LPG. The project is in its initial stages. Given the ever increasing deficit in the electricity in the country the project has encouraging prospects. Besides WAK Group is also setting up a 200MW Thermal Power Project in the near future.
Textile
WAK is also venturing into Textile Industry with a pre-phase plan of setting up power looms with captive power and a total installed capacity of 0.5 million spindles initially. The project is deemed to be set up on a 100 Acre piece of land located in the urban industrial area of Lahore. This will further diversify the scope of business for WAK group making the future prospects and outlook even more promising.
Land & Real Estate Development
WAK already enjoys outstanding credentials in the Land & Real Estate Development sector with their latest venture by the name of Pak-Arab Housing Scheme. Under this project WAK has already developed large “Low Cost” residential colonies and with the dynamic capabilities at hand it is further ready to set up a development project of 1000 acres of land in 4 tranches of 250 acres each. This humungous project will come with the lowest of risks and promises greatest of rewards.
